Old school photo rove

Everyone remembers what an old school photo rove is! Photographers of all ages and skill levels grab their favorite camera and explore a certain area or location for street style photography at its finest! I had a rare evening off and decided to throw one together for memories sake of going out with my friends from Exposure Detroit in what seems like forever ago.

It was about 27 degrees out with a pending blizzard headed towards Ann Arbor, so there were not many brave souls that turned up this round. I ended up meeting up with friend and photographer Luis LS, and photographed several long exposure images from Main street, all the way through central U of M campus.

Finally the blizzard rolled in, and we were forced to stop shooting when there was enough snow on the rim of the camera lens to be noticeable in the photograph. I will be putting together more random photo roves through out 2012 in various locations. Keep an eye out for adventure!

This is an image that I captured of the Ross Business School on U of M campus from the photo rove. It was photographed at F11, 13 second exposure, ISO 200, approximately 3200k WB with a Nikon D90 camera body and a Nikkor 35mm 1.8 lens for all of you tech gurus out there. :)
